Located in the Tampa/St Petersburg area near the beautiful Belleair Bluff’s neighborhood, Café Largo is nested at the end of a quiet courtyard in the Galleria Plaza. Our intimate dining room creates a perfect atmosphere for a romantic night on the town, a quiet evening with friends, or even an elegant family celebration.

Chef Dominique Christini specializes in a revival of classic French cuisine with a light touch in tradition of the Grande Brigade. Using only the freshest ingredients, everything we serve – from breads and soups through entrees and desserts - is prepared locally in our kitchen. Café Largo is truly a boulangerie, a bistro, a café, a fine dining restaurant, and even a patisserie in one.

In 2013 a casual dining space "La Buvette" was added to accommodate small private parties.  The monthly wine tastings are also held here.

Cooking classes are held monthly.  At least six persons are needed for the class to be held, otherwise it is postponed.  A maximum of twelve in the class makes for a perfect teaching enviroment.

Chef Dominique Christini was recently given the position of Culinary Advisor for the Chaîne Des Rôtisseurs of Tampa Bay. The oldest French guild of amateur and professional gastronomes in the world!!

Cafe Largo was honored to be selected as one of the 1300 restaurants worldwide to participate in "Goût de France", Good France, in March of 2015. We were one of only three restaurants in Florida to do so.  It was a terrific success, in that more than 100,000 people around the globe came out in support of French Cuisine.

2016  "Gout de France" will be held on Monday, March 21st.  Join us for this "one night only" tribute to French Gastronomy that is celebrated worldwide by more than 1000 restaurants. This year we are pleased to have Jean Francois Christini of J F Wine Imports, overseeing the wines for the evening.  There will be only one seating.  Aperitif served at 6:30pm and Dinner at 7pm.  Your can see the Menu on our Events page. We are pleased to be chosen to host an Exclusive Wine Dinner Sunday, April 10th, 2016.  This is event is featuring the wines of the Progeny Winery in Napa Valley, California. Please see our events page for all the details!

Regarding Cooking Classes: Reservations must be made at least two days prior to the Class date in order to make preparations.  If the class does not meet the minimum of 6 persons it will not be held.
